THE PINE DOGS DEMOGRAPH AND CHRONIC - all the news we can remember. VOL I No.3 Nov 6, 1996 Note from the editor: Hi! Greetings from your new editor. Tom Fischer (bass, old editor) warned you I'd be taking over...Val Dunne here, fan turned photographer, turned merch gal, turned promo gal.....at least with everything I do you know you'll get the whole story... BOSTON-NEMO FESTIVAL: Yeah, another festival. Good, bad, who knows? Tom Fischer's cousin Rosemary and her significant other Bill put us up in their beautiful home and stuffed us, and our friend (with a sophisticated Star Trek transporter system) Doitz was there. Val Misuraca and Brad Lange were down at Copperfields too. No Pine Dogs road trip feels absolutely complete without Bob Hobler on sound and cheerleading duty. All together a great trip ( with or without a record deal...) ARTVOICE MUSIC AWARDS: This year the band is serving the music community in the award presentation category. Be there to see who makes the most embarrassing comment. (anyone wanna make bets?) Also, since I'm not an actual band member, I can shamelessly mention that if you're in the WNY area a vote for your favorite musician or train-adorned CD would be a nice gesture. Check your ARTVOICE for polling locations. NO DEPRESSION - Any day now, the long awaited Vol 1 No.6. (Nov) is due out. The talented Elmer Ploetz on the keyboard, yours truly on photos. I know New World Records on Elmwood in Buffalo carries it, and supposedly Barnes and Noble has it nationally. Reach them at NoDepress@aol.com, http://www.twang.com/nodepression. LOCAL MUSIC STORE -Gettin' us some air play on the east coast, notably in Mass., Pennsylvania and down as far as North Carolina. Keep up the good work!
